I am not a full-time blogger: I also maintain a huge forum, an opensource portal, and another blog (where I post on a daily basis).
My advice for all webmasters around there would be: don't give up! Being a site author and maintainer is both fun and rewarding, you just have to try real hard. And don't worry, the internet is a huge place: with the right marketing scheme, you'll always be able to find visitors (keep reading Pagerank blog >:)
